Culver Baseball Academy - Private lessons on a private field
When I met my future husband twenty years ago I never dreamed that baseball would become such a big part of our family.  When our son was born we decided to move to Oak View so we could have a little land.  We had horses, goats, and chickens.  When this became too much work for two working parents Gary decided it would be great to have a baseball field instead horse corrals in our back yard.  This decision was one that brought us many happy memories and lots of truly fun times.

Gary has coached many teams from the time our son was five.  When we put the field in our backyard we no longer had to practice on elementary school fields that really weren't safe with all the gopher holes and maintenance problems. And when parents couldn't pick their kids on time they could just hang out.  I had so much fun baking for our teams and Fridays were always a party after practice.

Our teams always did very well because my husband is a real student of the game.  He has studied for hours on the proper way to play.

My son, after taking a year off to chase girls, is going to play this summer to get ready to compete for a spot at SBCC in the fall   Anyway, Gary has decided that he would love to teach the game to the kids coming up.  I hope you will give him a chance to make your child the best ball player he or she can possibly be and have fun at the same time.

After each lesson I will have lemonade or hot chocolate and a snack for each child.  I do so miss the days with our teams.  I just know this will be a great expperience for your child.
